Filler for Ear Lobes – WHY?

This is something you may have not given much thought to but ear lobes also age over time. As the levels of collagen and elastin in our skin decrease the skin isn’t as plump and elastic and begins to sag and wrinkle. The skin of the ear lobes also begins to elongate and wrinkle. This problem is more common in women who wear earrings who may notice that their ear piercing has gone from a hole to a slit.

What is Ear lobe rejuvenation?

This is a procedure whereby filler from the Juvéderm range containing hyaluronic acid is injected into the earlobe. It integrates with the tissue causing the skin to plump up and become firmer. It also stimulates the body’s own collagen production.

The whole procedure is very quick taking around 15 minutes. Results are instant with no need for any incisions and it is tolerated very well as numbing cream is applied and the filler also contains a local anaesthetic to aid comfort.

This is definitely a treatment a lot of women haven’t much awareness of despite noticing the changes which occur with their ear piercing. It means you can go back to enjoying wearing earrings without worry.
